FNAF ORIGIN STORY - PART 4: The Bite of '87

Time moved so fast after the "incidents".

Fazbear Entertainment and Freddy's Fazbear Pizzeria was brought back by Henry. He made a grand reopening after 4 years of the closing down. 

He reopened it with a completely new image. The animatronics looked more friendly than before. Henry made some new toy animatronics and used the parts of the old ones. He also kept the Puppet in that pizzeria.

The genius engineer also made some adjustments to these new toy animatronics, including a facial recognition, advance mobility that allowed the animatronics to talk freely during the day, and a criminal database. That way, the animatronics can detect a predator mile away. All of the animatronics now can protect the children. This innovation, of course, was based on Henry's trauma of losing her daughter.

But Henry wasn't the only ones who made an innovation. 

At that point, Afton already opened a small pizzeria besides her own house. He also made a new system where you can wear the animatronic as a costum, but it also can move by itself like a robot when you were not wearing it. At a birthday party this week, Afton wanted to show off this new animatronic design. This system was called a 'Springlock'. 

He also made his own golden animatronics, the way he liked it. He called it 'Spring Bonnie'. He also had some golden Freddy suits, but for the party, he prefered to tamper Henry's original Golden Freddy and turned it into a springlock as well. Afton admitted that Golden Freddy was well-made.

Afton had worked on this design for awhile now. But there was an ill purpose for this new system. Originally, the intention was so he could quickly wear and take out the bunny suit for murder. But he also planned to make the suit worked as an animatronic for the business purposes. 

As Afton made this without Henry, the suit got a really big flaw. It was dangerous if the one inside the suit moved too much or it was too moist. The springlock failure can hurt and possibly trap them. But Afton didn't know this flaw after way later.

But Springtrap wasn't the only thing that Afton worked on for the past several years. Secretly, he was using Henry's design on Circus Baby to make something, to be more specific, it was related to her late daughter, Elizabeth.

Henry never knew that Afton was the one who killed Charlotte. So, when Afton saw a job vacany as a night guard in Henry's place, the later welcomed Afton with the opened arms.

But Afton's arrogancy made him thought that he still could control Henry. He complained a lot to his ex-partner, especially about the new technology.  The animatronics can move around now but it was too scary for Afton. It felt like the children that he murdered possessed the animatronics. They even tried to enter his office during the night shift. Because of that, they moved Afton to the day shift.

Deep down, Afton was pretty sure it was not just a mechanical issue. He knew a soul can probably lived inside the animatronic. He had a raw idea. Afton thought that maybe he can put his own soul into an animatronic and became immortal. He just needed to find out how. He was working on it.

By the way, Afton also borrowed some Freddy merchs and an animatronic, Golden Freddy, to his son's birthday party next week. He implied his springlock technology into it. Little he knew, that was the one decision that would change his life forever.

The birthday party itself was for Afton's younger son.

Afton had two sons, the older one was Michael and the younger one was Evan. Evan was a crybaby so often he was called as the 'Crying Child'.

A few days before the Crying Child's birthday party, Michael was tasked to babysit his brother. Michael wasn't really close to his dad because Afton was always working and didn't really care about his family. At one moment, Afton even yelled to his wife thay he felt like Michael wasn't his biological son. Michael heard that and hated that so much. That was why he was pissed and Afton told him to babysit the Crying Child. He also thought that the party was too big for a little child like his brother. It felt like his parents always treated the Crying Child better. 

Michael planned to bully him everyday.

Everything at the house was themed Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. His dad's old business. He liked to play the old show from 1983 called 'Fredbear and Friends!'. The show that was made at the golden age of his old pizzeria. That kids learnt much about the characters from that TV show.

Afton even made one special Golden Freddy plushie for the Crying Child that can talk. Although, it was just Afton with a microphone talking to the Crying Child from his bunker. Michael got a bunny plushie called 'Plushtrap' which he thought was way worse than the Golden Freddy.

Afton was so busy because Henry's new pizzeria pushed him to do another killing spree. He put his improved Golden Bunny suit aka Springtrap every nights, lure some children, and killed them. But this time Henry was more experienced. He knew how awkward and weird Afton was, so he quickly called the police to make some investigations. The pizzeria will be closed again but Henry took the risk. He just wanted Afton to stop.

Meanwhile, Michael tried so hard to make her brother cried everyday. He did that everyday until the d-day. Michael and his friends brought Crying Child to the stage, specifically to Golden Freddy's jaw. Just to scare the younges brother. Michael succeeded! His brother cried so hard. But the moist caused a failure of the springlock suit. Golden Freddy's jaw was automatically closed. 

The bite of 1987 happened in front of Michael's eyes.

It was so magical that the Crying Child survived that, although just for a while. He slept in a hospital before finally dead. Just before he was gone, that cold-hearted Afton can't accompany his son. He could only speak through the Crying Child's plushie. He promised his child to "put him back together".

After reopened only for a short week, another Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was closed.
