FNAF ORIGIN STORY - PART 1: Henry and Afton

(a/n This story is inspired by the game franchise: Five Nights at Freddy's, specifically FNAF 1-6)

Fredbear's Family Diner was a small pizzeria with a really advanced technology, which was animatronics. It was solely created by an engineer called Henry. 

It was a simple life for him: Having his own small business, so he can still feed himself and his little daughter, Charlotte, but also still can work on his passion: Robotics. It was a perfect idea because making robots alone couldn't make him enough money.

William Afton saw this wonderful idea and knew the business potential of these animatronics. He was also an engineer but he was always better in business side compared to Henry, as the later was always the genius one.

William proposed a  expansion of Henry's pizzeria and they both made a deal. A new franchise was born called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

It was a massive success! William was so good at what he did that he made a deal with a local TV station. A kid show was aired called 'Fredbear and Friends' with 5 protagonists: Freddy, Chica, Bonny, Foxy, and a Golden Freddy.

Freddy was always Henry's favorite but Afton always wanted one colored golden. It would look more glamorous for the much richer market targets. Afton's favorite was the rabbit one.

Henry kept inovating and one day he made a security animatronic called the Puppet. This animatronic can roam around and kept the children safe, even finding a kid when it went too far from the Puppet's station. It was expensive, but Henry just wanted to give the best experience for his pizzeria, for the children and the parents. From the outside, Henry seemed cold, perfectionist, and avoidant. But he cared about his daughter.

"Afton seemed like the normal one…the businessman. William Afton was the one who made Freddy’s a business, as he had. Afton was as robust and lively as Henry was withdrawn and shadowy. He was a hefty man who had the ruddy geniality (friendly and cheerful manner) of a financially shrewd Santa Claus." (FNAF: The Silver Eyes).

Everyone knew that Afton was always the social one. He cared about the business and all the people involved. But no one knew that Afton had a psychopath side deep down in his heart. He also tried to make a golden bunny animatronic but he can't finish it so it was scrapped and only used for the parts. Afton was too busy with the success of the business, so he can't properly finish the golden bunny.

Two people with two distinct taste. After they signed the contract, their destiny was tied, beyond owning a pizzeria. A nightmare of the animatronics world had begun.
